A MALE SECURITY GUARD (the husband, 33), wearing a white mask, is walking away (from the camera angle), holding a plastic bag. The contents of the bag seems to be moving. He walks down a small alley, passing by an old couple (70-80) quarrelling. Soon after, he comes across a young couple (7-8) who also argues in the same manner.
The guard smiles to himself.

The Beginning...
...is almost always the most difficult part of anything.
I say almost, because when it comes to filming, the rules goes out the window. Everything is different, and a big part of that is because the lines are not clearly drawn. There's no single starting line, nor will there immediately be a clear end in sight...if at all. We merely move from one stage to another, without truly knowing that it has already started, or that the phase is at its end.
We just do what we do.
Wow...that's deep. ;)
Now that's out of the way, let's cut to the chase: the blog. This is our attempt to document what we can about the making of 'Zahir Tak Terucap', a short film by Maz Irwan Azani. It is a graduation project made for the Korea National University of Arts, and the film marks the beginning of the end of our current sojourn here in Korea. It has been a long and difficult couple of years, and we believe that this film is a fitting one to cap it all off. As such, you'll be able to find production updates, behind the scenes photos, as well as interviews with the cast and crew. And if there is enough coffee left in the machine and inspiration in the tank, we might even put in translations in Bahasa Malaysia and Korean.
Fortunately for us, blogging is a slightly different beast compared to filmmaking. Just like films, it doesn't really have a definite end in sight. It does, however, have a clear beginning.
This one.
And with that we'd like to say what most people do at the beginning.
Hello, assalamualaikum, anyeong haseiyo, and welcome to our blog!
